You cannot buy GTA 6 for PC in November, and the most useful thing anyone can tell you about building for it is to not build for it yet.
When is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Nobody knows, because Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all. What can be said with confidence is that there is none at launch: GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. For timing, the only guide is what the channel calls the Rockstar Gap, the historical distance between a Rockstar console release and its PC port. Across GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 that gap has consistently run into years rather than months. Applied here, late 2027 is the earliest realistic window, and that is an inference from Rockstar's pattern rather than anything Rockstar has said. The practical consequence for anyone planning a build is that buying hardware now for a game that has no PC release date means paying 2026 prices to wait.
What the consoles set as a hardware target
A console generation defines the floor a port has to hit. The PS5 and the Xbox Series S bracket that floor, and the Series S in particular is the reason a future PC port is unlikely to demand exotic hardware: if it runs on the weakest console in the generation, the minimum PC spec follows from that.
In practical terms the PS5 sits roughly in the class of cards like the RX 6700 XT and the RTX 3060 Ti, which is the comparison the video works through with real used prices.
The Rockstar Gap in numbers
GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 all shipped on consoles first and reached PC later, and in every case the wait was measured in years. That consistency is what makes the pattern usable: it is not one anomaly, it is how this studio operates.
The gap has narrowed over time, which is the strongest argument for the optimistic end of the range. It has never disappeared.
Why waiting is the better build
GPU prices move, and they generally move down for a given performance tier as newer generations land. Buying a PS5-class card now to play a game with no announced PC date means absorbing depreciation for at least a year, possibly two, with nothing to play on it that needed the purchase.
The video runs the comparison directly: a full PS5-equivalent build against the price of a PS5. If the goal is playing GTA 6 as early as possible, the console is the cheaper answer and it is not close.
A flat warning about fake PC downloads
There is no GTA 6 PC beta. There are no legitimate keys. Every site offering a download, an early access build or a pre-order key for a PC version that has not been announced is running a scam, and the volume of these will increase as launch approaches.

- The Rockstar Gap across GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2
- What hardware target the PS5 and Xbox Series S really set
- Real 2026 used GPU prices, including the RX 6700 XT and RTX 3060 Ti as PS5-class cards
- A full PS5-equivalent build compared against the price of the console itself
- A flat warning about fake GTA 6 PC downloads, betas and keys
What we do not know yet
- Whether a PC version has been greenlit at all
- Any official system requirements, because none exist
- Whether the historical gap narrows again this time
